A great TDC today:
We’ve all heard of Lynn Truss’s Eats, Shoots and Leaves and are probably familiar with the pictorial representations that accompany it.
As Lynn says, commas (and other punctuation marks) do make a difference. Choose your favourite grammatical faux pax and create a visual representation of it.
I decided to take the unpunctuated “Let’s Eat Grandma” and doodle a shocked old lady. Here she is.
Grandma, shocked that her grandchildren can’t use punctuation.
