Stir-Up Sunday is not till Nov 23rd this year, but it’s a dreich day and I’m off work with a cold so I thought it was time to get the Christmas pudding made this year. This is Mrs Beeton’s ‘rich’ pudding recipe. I omitted the milk and just used brandy and beer as liquid along with the eggs. It smells good already!
