Today’s TDC asks us to say what’s in our digital story teller’s kit, so here’s mine:

  • GIMP, for serious photo editing
  • Giphy for quick gifs (add stickers to a photo for quick effect)
  • Lunapic, for a whole range of filters and effects
  • PPT, for a quick way of adding text to an image (I get this free through work, other slide packages would work just as well)
  • Clipchamp, for quick video editing (as above, I use this as I get it through work, there are alternatives)
  • Flickr, to upload my images and easily insert them into web pages
  • WordPress, to write my blog posts

And a whole load of other stuff: like my light box to draw over images; my pens, pencils and crayons to doodle; my cameras, to take pics as I wander around; my scanner, printer and PC …

Digital storytelling is , and I think the Argos kit for toddlers is great.
